Trailers 2012: Man on a Ledge

When Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington), a former police officer from New York who is now an escaped prisoner enters the famous Roosevelt Hotel on 45th Street to Madison Avenue in New York City, addresses one of the upper floors and climbs onto the ledge, threatening more than his own life.

An entire city is about to become paralyzed, including some very nervous people who keep secrets.

The decision of myocardial Cassidy to get on the ledge of a skyscraper in the city not only unleashed a veritable maelstrom of media, but puts in a compromising position to Lydia Spencer (Elizabeth Banks), an active negotiator for the police department of New York, who tries to convince him to leave the ledge, while having to deal with a rival department (Edward Burns), who believes she has a conflict of interest.

However, the more time goes by Lydia tried to get to the root of the problem of Cassidy, the more you realize that this former police officer might harbor ulterior motives to create such a stir.

Could it have something to do with the mysterious project in which his brother and a fervent defender (Jamie Bell) is working with his girlfriend (Genesis Rodriguez) while Cassidy save time on the ledge? Or maybe with the efforts being made by Cassidy's best friend in the body (Anthony Mackie) to try it down? Or with the goings-on behind closed doors that you bring a powerful businessman (Ed Harris)? As they discover new pieces of the puzzle in the course of the daring maneuver Cassidy, suddenly the story of a disgraced police trying to prove his innocence becomes decidedly more revealing.

In the end, turns out to have much more at stake than the likelihood that a man standing on a ledge can simply lose your balance.
